If you want to hear how many mental hospitals/half way houses and the amount and types of crime occuring in the area get a UHF and tune into the police scanner. People feel more freer to have parties, let their dogs run around the property without bothering to train them, use power tools in a shed (believe me, this is not just the domain of acreage-living people) and burn around on mini motorbikes.
